The Reader

The next book on the list for the lunchtime discussion group is The Reader by Bernhard Schlink.

"Hailed for its coiled eroticism and the moral claims it makes upon the reader, this mesmerizing novel is a story of love and secrets, horror and compassion, unfolding against the haunted landscape of postwar Germany."

Sound familiar?  Maybe you saw the controversial movie, by the same name, starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes?  Join the WMCC Lunchtime Discussion Group on Thursday, March 27th, at noon, in Room 122, as we discuss this thought provoking book. Copies are available in the library.

Bring your lunch!
