Sula


The next White Mountains Community College/Berlin Public Library evening book discussion will be on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at the WMCC Library, when Holly Perrault will delve into the novel Sula by Toni Morrison.

"In Sula, Toni Morrison, winner of the 1993 Nobel Prize for literature, tells the story of two women, friends since childhood, separated in young adulthood, and reunited as grown women...

Copies of the book are available for loan at the Berlin Public Library and WMCC Fortier Library.

New Library Hours


Hard to believe Fall is here already, at least the Fall semester anyway.

This year the WMCC's Fortier Library hours are slightly different:

Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lunchtime Book Discussion


On Thursday, October 6, join us at the WMCC Fortier Library, around noontime, when we will be meeting to discuss Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.

First published in 1960, this Pulitzer Prize winning novel has become a modern classic, addressing issues of race, gender roles, rape, integrity, and heroism.

Copies--audio and print--are available to borrow in the library.
