Spiked Boots

Craig Doherty will lead the third discussion in the Spring 2012 discussion/lecture series presented by the Berlin Public Library and the White Mountains Community College. We will be talking about Robert E. Pike's Spiked Boots, which tells of the lives of the loggers and others who worked in the woods in the early 20th century on the Connecticut and Androscoggin Rivers.

Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. at the White Mountains Community College Fortier Library. Light refreshments will be served.

Copies of the book are available at both the Berlin Public Library and WMCC Library.

This event is funded, in part, by the NH Humanities
Council, with additional funding from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation – North Country Region.
