Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fortier Library will be closing today at 5pm. Students may go to Room 212 for computer use after 5pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What is a Brave New World?

Aldous Huxley wrote the cautionary, futuristic distopian novel Brave New World in 1931, but it is set in in the year AD 2540.

Already, in 2017, we are grappling with some of the same ethics issues in politics, religion and medicine that Huxley pondered 86 years ago.

Join the group and find out where fact meets fiction, on October 5, in the library.   Bring your lunch!

Fall Foliage

Cooler evening temperatures have arrived, and that means autumn is drawing near.

Folks come from all over the world to hike through New Hampshire's colorful fall foliage.  We're lucky we can play in the crisp fall leaves in our own back yard.

The Library has a variety of book on N.H. and New England hiking trails, hiking adventures, and other materials to inspire you to get out and play.
