Science Meets the Afterlife
"Spook is about all manner of enterprising, brave, occasionally peculiar people -- from doctors to sheep ranchers -- who have tried to use science to pin down that most floaty question, What happens when we die? Can we prove there's a soul or an afterlife?"
From the author's website: www.maryroach.net/spook.html
On Thursday, April 14, in Room 122 the WMCC Lunchtime Discussion group will meet to talk about Spook, Mary Roach's award winning book about science and the afterlife. Bring your lunch!
Books and audios are available in the library.

Celebrate Spring!
Spring is coming, more quickly this year than usual. Snow is melting, maple sap is running, ice is out on rivers and lakes, and soon grass and flowers will be growing.
Celebrate the change of season by planning your summer with a book on gardening or landscaping! The WMCC Fortier Library has many of both.
We also have a collection of children's books about bunnies, seasons, and spring.
If your sweet tooth is aching, we've got books on our local liquid gold: maple syrup.
