Check out: Information Technology
For the month of September, the Fortier Library is highlighting the Information Technology program at White Mountains Community College.
About the IT program from the College's homepage: "Computer equipment is essential to the success of business and industry. Personal computers facilitate communications, information processing and the recording of business transactions. Keeping these increasingly sophisticated systems working properly is the responsibility of computer technicians and computer support specialists". For more information see their page, http://www.wmcc.edu/courses/cethome.html.
The Library is keeping up with this constantly-changing field with new books on programming, networking, software, etc. Here are a few new titles:

Who is Pudd'nhead Wilson?
Next on the list in the WMCC lunchtime book discussion group meetings is Pudd'nhead Wilson by Mark Twain. Originally written in 1894, this short novel weaves mystery, comedy, courtroom drama, and slavery, with classic Twain irony, all set in antebellum South.
Copies of the book are available in the library.
Join the group on August 30th at noon in the library. Bring your lunch!
