Starting off the White Mountains Community College/Berlin Public Library's 2011 fall lecture/discussion series on Wednesday, August 24, at 7 p.m., is One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel García Márquez.
Originally written in 1967, this highly acclaimed story, first written in Spanish and translated into 37 languages, tells the story of seven generations through turbulent times.
Copies of the book are available for loan at both the WMCC library and the Berlin Public Library.
